Discipleship
Sometimes we know truth in our minds long before it has become something we know how to live from.
Discipleship offers a space to slow down, bring what you’re carrying into the light, and walk with the Lord through the places where fear, pain, confusion, disappointment, transition or old ways of seeing may be shaping your experience.
You don’t need to arrive with everything figured out. Sometimes the first step is simply having somewhere safe to begin talking about where you are.
The heart of discipleship is to help you recognise what the Lord may already be doing, grow in confidence in who He is, and learn to live more deeply from the truth of who you are in Christ.
What Discipleship can look like
Discipleship doesn’t always happen within the boundaries of a scheduled Zoom session.
Sometimes a longer conversation is the best place to begin. At other times, what is most helpful is building connection gradually through regular communication, messages, check-ins, and conversations as life unfolds.
The way we connect may change over time. There may be seasons where more regular support is helpful and others where very little is needed. Sometimes one conversation simply opens something that needs time to be walked out with the Lord before the next step becomes clear.
Discipleship is about relationship, growth, and learning to walk with Him in the reality of everyday life.
My Role in the Journey
I don’t come into discipleship assuming I have all the answers.
My role is to walk alongside you, encourage you, teach where it is helpful, ask questions, and help shine light on the next step in front of you.
Sometimes that means helping you understand where you are in your journey. Sometimes it means noticing patterns, beliefs or perspectives that can be difficult to recognise when you are living inside them. And sometimes it simply means being a safe and steady presence while you find your footing.
I am not a counsellor or therapist. What I offer has grown from the way the Lord has walked with me through my own healing and into a deeper relationship with Him. Along the way, He has also given me a gift for seeing, discerning and walking with people well, something others have found deeply valuable in their own journeys.
Ultimately, I am here to facilitate: to create space, help you make sense of where you are, and shine light on the next step as you continue walking with the Lord.
Begin the Conversation
If you feel this kind of discipleship may be helpful for where you are, you’re welcome to reach out.
You don’t need to know exactly what you need or what the journey should look like. We can simply begin with a conversation, get a sense of where you are, and see what kind of support may be most helpful from there.
